The annual grant summary report is provided to all Friends of NRA committees and is available from them to anyone who asks.  It is also posted here for your review. It's a document we are proud of, as it represents a great deal of quality work by New York NRA volunteers and staff to raise a substantial amount of money and then invest those funds in the form of grant awards to worthy club projects in NYS that are going to
conduct educational, community service types of programs.

At the annual grant meeting of the Upstate New York Friends of NRA State Fund Committee to allocate the 2008 funds, 76 applications were reviewed, 73 grants were approved, and approximately $160,000 was allocated for these local projects.  Eligible categories for funding include safety, education, conservation, charitable and community service as they relate to the shooting sports and the common good.   Representing their hometown areas from all over NYS, this charitable task was accomplished by outstanding NRA volunteers serving in the vitally important role of Delegate.
